SZQ-160 100/200/300/400μm Ceramic Film Applicator is a 4-sided film applicator made of zirconia ceramics. Its film thickness is 100μm, 200μm, 300μm, 400μm, the application width is 160mm, and the total length is 190mm. The product is a manual laboratory film applicator, which can also be used with the Film Applicator to realize automatic Spreader. Before leaving the factory, it has been imported three-coordinate to check the dimensional accuracy to ensure film accuracy, and supports customization of different specifications.

Principle
The Film Applicator scrapes paint or Stock on the flat surface of the substrate through the edge of the ceramic drawdown blade of a specific thickness to form a layer of wet-film with uniform thickness and controllable accuracy. Users can choose drawdown blades of different thicknesses according to their needs for operation.

Steps
1. Select the Applicator drawdown blade corresponding to the desired wet film thickness.
2. Place the Applicator on one end of a flat, clean substrate.
3. Push the Applicator manually or through the Film Applicator at a constant speed to scrape the edge of the drawdown blade over the paint or Stock.
4. Lift the Applicator to leave a uniform wet-film on the substrate.
