Overview
The AR954 Handheld Metal Detector is a Portable security inspection device based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. It generates eddy currents inside metal objects by generating rapidly changing magnetic fields, which in turn triggers the detector to issue an alarm, which is used to quickly detect and locate metal objects.

Principle
The detector operates on the principle of electromagnetic induction. An internal coil is fed with alternating current, which generates a rapidly changing magnetic field. When this magnetic field approaches a metal object, an eddy current is induced inside the metal. The eddy current itself generates a new magnetic field, which in turn affects the detector's original magnetic field, triggering an alarm tone.
