Overview
SMART SENSOR AR4105A grounding resistance tester is a professional instrument used to measure the grounding resistance, low resistance conductor resistance value and ground voltage of various devices. It is widely used in electric power, post and telecommunications, railway, communication, mining and other departments to ensure the safety and Reliability of equipment grounding system.
Features
1. Support 2-wire method and 3-wire method Measurement mode
2. With ground voltage measurement function, range 0~ 200V
3. Multi-gear grounding resistance measurement, covering the range of 0~ 199.9 Ω
4. Fast Response Time, Grounding Resistance about 5 seconds, Grounding Voltage about 2 seconds
5. With continuous measurement function, all gears can work continuously
6. Equipped with backlight display, easy to use in an environment with insufficient rays of light
7. Portable design, Net weight only 526g, equipped with suitcase
8. With overload protection function, ensure the safe use of the equipment
Principle
The tester calculates the grounding resistance by applying the test current to the grounding device under test and measuring the voltage drop generated. Measurement principle of 2-wire method or 3-wire method is used to process the signal through internal precision circuit, and finally the grounding resistance value and the ground voltage value are directly displayed on the display screen.
Applications
Power system equipment grounding testing, building internal grounding system testing, factory floor production equipment grounding testing, telecommunications equipment and communication base station grounding testing, scientific research and laboratory grounding testing
Standards
IEC 61010-1、IEC 61010-2-31、IEC 61557-1,5、IEC 60529(IP54)
Steps
1. Select the appropriate Measurement mode (2-wire method or 3-wire method)
2. Connect the test wire to the grounding device under test
3. Turn on the power switch
4. Select the appropriate measurement gear
5. Start measuring and reading the resistance and voltage values on the display
6. Record measurement results
7. Turn off the power and disconnect the test connection
Notice
• Please ensure that the equipment is in good condition and the test line is not damaged before use
• Avoid contact with exposed conductor parts during measurement
Do not use in environments beyond the specified conditions
• Pay attention to overload protection restrictions to avoid overload work for a long time
• Regularly check the battery power and replace it in time
• Humidity of the environment during storage
• Use a dry cloth when cleaning to avoid liquids entering the equipment
