Overview
AR3123 high voltage insulation resistance meters are widely used to measure the insulation resistance of generators, motors, power transformers, wiring, appliances, and other electrical devices. They are often used in routine maintenance procedures to indicate changes in motor insulation resistance over time. Large changes in insulation resistance may indicate potential failures, so regular calibration is required to ensure meter accuracy.

Principle
The high voltage insulation resistance meter calculates the insulation resistance value according to Ohm's law by applying a high voltage DC voltage to the tested equipment, measuring the leakage current flowing through the insulating material. By monitoring the change trend of insulation resistance, the insulation condition and potential failure risk of electrical equipment can be evaluated.
