Overview
The SMART SENSOR AR3125 high voltage insulation resistance meter is an insulation resistance tester widely used to measure the insulation resistance of generators, motors, power transformers, wiring, appliances and other electrical installations. Principle
The high voltage insulation resistance meter measures the resistance value of the insulating material by applying a high voltage direct current to the electrical equipment under test. The process is based on Ohm's law and detects current leakage to evaluate insulation performance. The meter generates a stable high voltage through an internal circuit and uses an LCD to display measurement results to help users identify changes in insulation resistance.

Steps
1. Prepare the equipment: ensure that the high voltage insulation resistance meter has sufficient power supply (use DC12V battery), and check the high voltage probe connection.
2. Select the output voltage: according to the requirements of the tested equipment, select 500V, 1000V, 2500V or 5000V gears.
3. Connection test: Connect the high voltage probe to the insulating part of the electrical device under test to ensure safe contact.
4. Start measurement: start the meter, observe the LCD display, and record the insulation resistance value.
5. Analysis results: Compare measurement data with Standard values to evaluate insulation performance.
6. Turn off the device: After the test is completed, turn off the power and store it properly.
