Overview
KS-150 in-situ single shear instrument is a special instrument used by KOSON brand to detect the shear strength of building masonry. The instrument is a small hydraulic device that detects the shear strength of the masonry by pushing the cover plate to generate force on the block through the piston rising, so that the upper and lower surfaces of the block are shearing. The shear strength of the masonry is calculated by measuring the force when the block is shearing. The test results are intuitive and the detection part is partially damaged.
Features
1. The instrument has novel structure, small size, light mass and convenient operation.
2. Adopting a manual pump loading cylinder, the operation is simple and convenient, and the interchangeability is strong.
3, digital display pressure gauge, can directly read the shear force.
Principle
Press the manual pump to press the handle, the hydraulic oil is communicated with the digital pressure gauge all the way through YouTube, and the other way enters the single shear meter to push the piston up, and the piston pushes the cover plate to apply thrust to the block. With the increase of the thrust on the block, the upper and lower sides of the block are shearing, and the oil pressure quickly decreases back to zero, and the piston returns under the action of spring force. The digital pressure gauge records the pressure value at this time, and the shear strength of the masonry can be calculated by calculating.
Steps
1. Press the manual pump to press the handle.
2. The hydraulic oil is connected to the digital pressure gauge all the way through YouTube, and the other way enters the single shear meter to push the piston up.
3. The piston pushes the cover plate to apply thrust to the block.
4. When shearing occurs on the upper and lower sides of the block, the oil pressure rapidly decreases back to zero.
5. Return the piston under the action of spring force.
6. The digital pressure gauge records the pressure value at this time, and the shear strength of the masonry can be calculated by calculating.
Notice
• The detection site is partially damaged.
• Make sure the instrument has sufficient power supply before use.
• Pay attention to safety during operation to avoid leakage of hydraulic oil.
