Overview
The TQC brand Wet Film Wheel VF2257 is a roller thickness gauge designed according to ISO 2808-74 standards. It uses the wheel-rail eccentric wheel scale to roll and measure wet film thickness, expressed in μm. The instrument is suitable for measuring the wet film thickness of Coatings, Paints, varnish and other Coatings. It can not only measure on flat substrates, but also perform High Accuracy measurement on curved substrates. The outer wheel score design ensures that it fits the baseplate and prevents slippage. The material is made of stainless steel and the handheld part is aluminum.

Principle
The Wet Film Wheel uses scale measurement of wet film thickness during rolling through the wheel-rail eccentric wheel design. When the wheel rolls over the wet-film, the end reading of the wet part of the center wheel is the wet film thickness to ensure accurate measurement.

Steps
1. Grip the center axis of the wet film thickness measurement wheel, starting from the maximum film thickness scale value, reducing the risk of inaccurate measurement due to surface tension
2. During the test, let the wheel roll over the wet-film, the wheel should touch the substrate, the wet film thickness measurement wheel rolls forward and backward at least one ring, the rolling process should be slow enough to make the wheel fully contact with the coating, and finally, the center wheel The reading at the end of the wet part is the wet film thickness (it is recommended to measure twice at different positions in the same way to obtain a representative value with a certain range)
