Overview
The Dutch TQC VF2004 DIN cup is a DIN Benchtop Flow rate viscosity cup with a replaceable filter design, which saves costs by replacing different diameter filters to meet the testing needs of different viscosity ranges. The cup body is made of titanium anodic oxidation aluminum, and the cup holder and nozzle are made of stainless steel. It meets the DIN53211 standard and is suitable for testing the viscosity value of paints, varnishes and other liquids.
Features
1. The annular groove design of the cup mouth can store overflowing liquids
2. Dimension design and TQC viscosity cup bracket matching
3. Easy to clean, cup wall and outflow hole without difficult to clean sinkage
4. Implement consistent quality control in the production process
5. Each viscosity cup is engraved with a unique serial number
Principle
The DIN cup determines the viscosity value by measuring the time required for the liquid to flow out of the standard aperture. When using, keep the liquid temperature stable at 25 +/- 0.2 ° C. Viscosity data is obtained by timing the time the liquid flows out of the outflow hole to the first stop.
Applications
Paints, varnishes, other liquids
Steps
1. Adjust the temperature of the liquid to be tested to 25 ° C and keep it stable
2. Select the appropriate pore size viscosity cup according to the estimated viscosity range
3. Adjust viscosity cup to horizontal position
4. Cover the outflow hole and inject the liquid to be tested to the liquid level beyond the edge of the cup mouth
5. Glass drawing plate to move excess liquid into overflow ring and close DIN cup
6. Ensure that the distance between the outflow hole and the recovery liquid level is greater than 100mm
7. Open the outflow hole and remove the Glass drawing plate to start timing
8. Record the time of the first interruption of the liquid beam
Notice
• When cleaning the outflow hole, remove the residue to avoid scratching the inner surface
• It is a precision appliance to avoid falling or hitting
• It needs to be cleaned in time after use
• Use soft cloth when cleaning, disable wire brush or sandpaper
• When disassembling the cup mouth, use a pin stick to resist it to avoid direct tapping
• Make sure the cup nozzle and viscosity cup are clean before installing the cup nozzle
• Put back the original Encasement box when not in use
It is recommended to calibrate once a year
