Overview
The TQC VF2001 DIN cup is a DIN Benchtop Flow rate viscosity cup with a replaceable filter design, which saves costs by replacing different diameter filters to meet the testing needs of different viscosity ranges. The cup body is made of titanium anodic oxidation aluminum, and the cup holder and nozzle are made of stainless steel, which meets the DIN53211 standard. It is suitable for testing the viscosity value of paints, varnish and Miscellaneous liquids.
Features
1. The annular groove design of the cup mouth can store overflowing liquids
2. Dimensions used with TQC viscosity cup bracket
3. Structural design is easy to clean, no difficult to clean sinkage
4. Implement consistent quality control in the production process
5. Each viscosity cup is engraved with a unique serial number
Principle
The DIN cup determines the viscosity value by measuring the time it takes for the liquid to flow out of the standard aperture. During the test, the liquid flows out of the outflow hole at the bottom of the cup at standard temperature, and the viscosity is calculated by timing the time interval between the first disconnection of the liquid beam.
Applications
Paints, varnishes, Miscellaneous Liquid Viscosity Testing
Standards
Approximate DIN 53211
Steps
1. Ensure that the temperature of the liquid to be tested is stable at 25 +/- 0.2 ° C
2. Select the appropriate pore size viscosity cup according to the estimated viscosity range
3. Adjust viscosity cup to horizontal position
4. Cover the outflow hole and inject the liquid to be tested to the liquid level beyond the edge of the cup mouth
5. Glass drawing plate to move excess liquid into overflow ring
6. Keep the distance between the outflow hole and the recovery liquid level greater than 100mm
7. Open the outflow hole and remove the Glass drawing plate to start timing
8. Record the time when the liquid beam is first disconnected
Notice
• Avoid scratching the inner surface when cleaning the outflow hole
• It is a precision appliance to avoid falling or hitting
• It needs to be cleaned in time after use
• Use soft cloth when cleaning, disable wire brush or sandpaper
• Use the matching pin when disassembling the cup nozzle, do not tap directly
• Make sure the parts are clean before installing the cup nozzle
• Put back the original Encasement box when not in use
It is recommended to calibrate once a year
