Overview
The Dutch TQC VF2000 DIN cup is a DIN Benchtop Flow rate viscosity cup with a replaceable filter design, which can be tested in different viscosity ranges by simply purchasing different diameter filters, saving costs. The cup body is made of titanium anodic oxidation aluminum, and the cup holder and nozzle are made of stainless steel, which meets the DIN53211 standard. It is suitable for testing the viscosity value of paints, varnishes and other liquids.
Features
1. The annular groove design of the cup mouth can store the overflowing liquid
2. Dimension design can be used with TQC viscosity cup bracket
3. Easy to clean, cup wall and outflow hole structure without difficult to clean sinkage
4. Production has consistent quality control
5. Each viscosity cup is engraved with a unique serial number
Principle
The DIN Benchtop flow cup measures the viscosity of the liquid by measuring the time it takes for the liquid to flow out of the standard aperture. According to the standard, the temperature of the liquid to be measured is 25 degrees Celsius, and the temperature fluctuation during the test does not exceed +/-0.2 degrees Celsius. The viscosity value is determined by measuring the time the liquid flows out of the outflow hole until the first stop occurs by selecting the viscosity cup of the appropriate pore size.
Applications
Paints, varnishes, other liquid viscosity tests
Steps
1. Adjust the temperature of the liquid to be tested to 25 degrees Celsius to ensure that the temperature fluctuation does not exceed +/-0.2 degrees Celsius
2. Select the appropriate pore size viscosity cup according to the estimated viscosity range
3. Adjust the viscosity cup to the horizontal position (it is recommended to use the viscosity cup bracket and bubble level indicator)
4. Cover the outflow hole and inject the liquid to be tested so that the curved surface of the liquid is above the edge of the cup mouth
5. Glass drawing plate to move the liquid curved part into the overflow ring and close the DIN cup
6. Ensure that the distance between the outflow hole and the liquid level of the recovered sample is greater than 100mm
7. Open the covered outflow hole and remove the Glass drawing plate
8. Timing from the removal of the Glass Drawing Plate to the end of the first interruption of the liquid stream
Notice
• Clean the outflow hole to remove residue and avoid scratching the inner surface
• It is a precision appliance and should not be dropped or hit.
• It needs to be cleaned after use
• Use soft cloth when cleaning, do not use wire brush or sandpaper
• Do not tap directly when disassembling the cup mouth, use the equipped pin rod to hold the cup mouth and then tap with a heavy object
• Make sure the cup nozzle and viscosity cup are clean before installing the cup nozzle
• Please put the DIN cup back in the box when not in use
It is recommended to calibrate once a year
