Overview
The LEEB D Impact unit is standard on the LEEB 120 and LEEB 140 Leeb hardness testers for the Hardness measurement of steel, cast iron, brass, bronze and other materials.
Features
Impact energy of 11mJ, Impact device mass of 5.5g/7.2g
2. Hardness of ball head up to 1600HV, ball head diameter of 3mm, using tungsten carbide material
3. Impact device diameter of 20mm, length of 86 (147)/75mm, total mass of 50g
4. The maximum Hardness of the specimen can reach 940HV, and the average surface asperity requirement is 1.6μm.
5. Suitable for a variety of materials hardness measurement, including steel, cast iron, brass, bronze, etc
Principle
The Impact device drives the surface of the tungsten carbide ball head through 11mJ of Impact energy, and is suitable for hardness testing of various metal materials according to the diameter and depth of Che.
Applications
Steel, cast iron, brass, bronze, alloy tool steel, stainless steel, gray cast iron, ductile cast iron, cast aluminum alloy, copper zinc alloy, copper tin alloy, pure copper
Steps
1. Ensure that the minimum weight of the specimen is greater than 5kg, and stable support is required 2~ 5kg or dense coupling 0.05~ 2kg
2. The minimum test thickness of the specimen is 5mm, and the minimum depth of the hardened layer is ≥ 0.8mm.
3. Impact devices for routine measurements
4. Read Hardness value according to Crain diameter and depth
Notice
- The average surface asperity of the specimen shall not exceed 1.6 μm
- The minimum weight of the specimen must be greater than 5kg
The minimum test thickness of the specimen is 5mm.
- Minimum depth of hardening layer must be ≥ 0.8mm
- Choose stable support or dense coupling method according to the weight of the specimen
