Overview
The Dutch TQC VF2111 double-channel Fineness Gauge is a Grindometer with a Measurement range of 0~ 25μm and a Measurement accuracy of +/- 2 μm. The product is made of Swiss high-quality stainless steel with excellent Abrasion Resistance and corrosion resistance. It adopts a double groove design.
Features
1. The drawdown blade is made of hardened stainless steel, the surface is fine, smooth and easy to maintain, and can be operated by hand
2. Double groove design, with three different parameters of micron, Hegman, and North slope, belongs to the graded slope design
3. Can measure the fineness of paints, Coatings, pigments, raw materials, plastics, Printing inks and other materials
4, in chocolate, ceramics, paper, food and other industries can also be used for product fineness detection
Principle
In the process of pigment fineness detection, pigments need to be ground into finer particles for dispersion in fluid equipment. The physical properties of the final dispersion are called "fineness". The fineness depends not only on the actual size of the individual particles, but also on the degree to which they are dispersed. Using pigment Fineness Gauge can quickly measure pigment fineness.
Applications
Paints, Coatings, pigments, raw materials, plastics, Printing inks, chocolate, ceramics, paper, food
Standards
With certificate
Steps
1. Wash the scraper and drawdown blade with the specified solvent and dry them with cotton yarn
2. Fully mix the sample that meets the standard viscosity of the product with a blender
3. Drop a few drops of the sample into the deepest part of the groove of the Grindometer to fill the groove and have a little excess
4, double hand-held drawdown blade transverse on the upper end of the Grindometer, so that the drawdown blade perpendicular to the surface, at a suitable speed from the deep groove to the shallow pull
5. Immediately pinch the fineness meter and tilt it horizontally, so that the line of sight is at an angle of 15-30 degrees to the plane of the trench. Observe the scale value of the particles evenly exposed in the trench
Notice
The measurement results should be read within 5 seconds after scraping
When reading, the line of sight should be at a 15-30 degree angle to the groove plane
When scraping, keep the drawdown blade perpendicular to the surface of the fineness gauge
The scraping speed should be stable and appropriate
The specimen should be able to fill the grooves without leaving excess paint on the plate
