Overview
The TQC VF2091 immersion ISO viscosity cup is a Handheld viscosity testing tool imported from the Netherlands for viscosity measurement of coatings, paints and other products. The product is designed according to DIN EN ISO 2431 standard, made of aluminum alloy, with a filter diameter of 4mm, suitable for rapid viscosity assessment in laboratory environments.
Features
1. Design and production according to DIN EN ISO 2431 standard
2. Made of aluminum alloy, the structure is sturdy and durable
3. Equipped with stainless steel filter to ensure Measurement accuracy
4. Each product is engraved with a unique serial number for easy traceability
5. Handheld design, easy and flexible operation
Principle
The ISO viscosity cup calculates viscosity by measuring the time the liquid flows out of the hole at the bottom of the cup. During testing, the liquid flows out of the hole below the viscosity cup, the outflow time is recorded, and then converted to dynamic viscosity units through the disc viscosity calculator for fast viscosity classification.
Applications
Coatings, paints, inks, pigments
Standards
DIN EN ISO 2431
Steps
1. Ensure that the temperature of the liquid to be tested is 23 +/- 0.2 ° C
2. Adjust the liquid temperature if necessary
3. Select the appropriate pore size viscosity cup according to the estimated viscosity range
4. Slowly immerse the viscosity cup in the liquid to the top edge
5. Put in a thermometer to measure the sample temperature
6. Remove thermometer
7. Finger hook the handle ring, quickly lift the viscosity cup vertically and start timing, keep the cup body no more than 15cm above the liquid level
8. Stop timing when the liquid beam stops flowing for the first time
Notice
• During the test, the temperature fluctuation should not exceed +/- 0.2 ° C
• The viscosity cup should be kept no more than 15cm above the liquid level after lifting
• Timing should start when the viscosity cup leaves the liquid surface
• The end of the timing is subject to the first interruption of the liquid beam
• It is necessary to use a viscosity conversion disc for unit conversion
