Overview
The TQC VF2092 immersion ISO viscosity cup is a portable viscosity testing tool imported from the Netherlands for viscosity measurement of coatings, paints and other products. The product is designed according to DIN EN ISO 2431 standard, made of aluminum alloy, with a filter diameter of 6mm, suitable for rapid viscosity assessment in laboratory environments.
Features
Measurement accuracy according to DIN EN ISO 2431
2. Made of aluminum alloy, light and durable
3. Filter diameter 6mm, viscosity range 188-684cSt
4. Engraved with a unique serial number, the mass can be traced back
5. Handheld design, easy to operate
Principle
The ISO viscosity cup calculates viscosity by measuring the time it takes for the liquid to flow out of the bottom hole of the cup. During the test, the flow of the liquid is timed, and the timing is stopped when the beam is first cut off. The resulting time can be used to convert dynamic viscosity units, so it is also called a flow cup.
Applications
Coatings, paints, inks, pigments
Standards
DIN EN ISO 2431
Steps
1. Ensure that the temperature of the liquid to be tested is stable at 23 +/- 0.2 ° C
2. Select the appropriate pore size viscosity cup according to the estimated viscosity range
3. Slowly immerse the viscosity cup in the liquid until the top edge is submerged
4. Put in the thermometer to detect the sample temperature and remove it
5. Hook the handle ring with your finger and lift the cup vertically to start timing.
6. Keep the cup no more than 15cm above the liquid level
7. Stop timing when the liquid beam stops flowing for the first time
Notice
• Temperature fluctuations during testing must not exceed +/- 0.2 ° C
• The viscosity cup should be kept no more than 15cm above the liquid level after lifting
• Timing is subject to the first interruption of the liquid beam
• Accessories such as viscosity conversion discs need to be used for data conversion
