Overview
The TQC VF2093 immersion ISO viscosity cup is a Handheld viscosity testing tool imported from the Netherlands for viscosity measurement of coatings, paints and other products. The product is designed according to DIN EN ISO 2431 standard, made of aluminum alloy, with a filter diameter of 8mm, suitable for rapid viscosity assessment in laboratory environments.
Features
Measurement accuracy according to DIN EN ISO 2431
2. Made of aluminum alloy, light and durable
3. Filter nozzle diameter 8mm, covering 600-2000cSt viscosity range
4. Handheld immersion design, easy to operate
5. Each cup is engraved with a unique serial number for easy traceability
Principle
The ISO viscosity cup calculates viscosity by measuring the time it takes for the liquid to flow out of the orifice at the bottom of the cup. During the test, the liquid flows out under gravity, recording the time from the start of the flow to the first stop, and then converting to dynamic viscosity units through the disc viscosity calculator for rapid viscosity classification.
Applications
Coatings, paints, inks, pigments
Standards
DIN EN ISO 2431
Steps
1. Ensure that the temperature of the liquid to be tested is stable at 23 +/- 0.2 ° C
2. Select the appropriate pore size viscosity cup according to the estimated viscosity range
3. Slowly immerse the viscosity cup in the liquid to the top edge
4. Put in the thermometer to measure the sample temperature and remove it
5. Hook the handle ring with your finger and lift the cup vertically to start timing.
6. Keep the cup no more than 15cm above the liquid level
7. Stop timing when the liquid beam is first cut off
Notice
• Temperature fluctuations during testing should be controlled within +/- 0.2 ° C
• Keep vertical and stable when lifting the viscosity cup
• After the cup leaves the liquid surface, it should be kept no more than 15cm above the liquid surface
• The end point of the timing is subject to the first interruption of the liquid beam
• It is necessary to use a viscosity conversion disc for unit conversion
