The TQC immersion viscosity cup VF2074 is a viscosity measurement tool with a long handle, made of aluminum alloy cup body and stainless steel filter, suitable for one-handed immersion in Coatings to determine viscosity values, with high Precision. With a diameter of 5mm and a capacity of 100ml, this model filter meets the approximate DIN 53211 standard and is widely used in the Coatings and inks industries.

Principle
The TQC immersion viscosity cup calculates the viscosity by filling the liquid in the immersion coating and lifting it up, and measuring the time for the liquid to flow out of the filter. When the liquid beam is stopped for the first time, the viscosity value is determined according to the corresponding relationship between the flow time and the viscosity range, which is simple and accurate.

Steps
1. Ensure that the temperature of the liquid to be tested is 23 degrees Celsius, and the fluctuation does not exceed +/-0.2 degrees Celsius
2. Adjust the liquid temperature if necessary
3. Select the appropriate pore size viscosity cup according to the estimated viscosity range
4. Slowly dip into the viscosity cup until the top edge is submerged
5. Put in a thermometer to measure the sample temperature
6. Remove thermometer
7. Hook the handle ring with your finger, keep it vertical, quickly lift the viscosity cup and start timing, the cup body is kept no more than 15cm above the sample surface
8. Stop timing when the liquid beam stops flowing for the first time
Notice
• Clean the outflow hole to remove residue and avoid scratching the inner surface
• Do not drop or hit, it is a precision appliance
• It needs to be cleaned after use
• Use soft cloth when cleaning, avoid wire brush or sandpaper
• Do not tap directly when disassembling the cup nozzle, use the auxiliary pin and heavy object.
• Make sure it is clean before installing the cup nozzle
• Put back the box when not in use
It is recommended to calibrate once a year
