Overview
The TQC dip viscosity cup VF2073 is a viscosity measurement tool with a long handle, made of aluminum alloy cup body and stainless steel filter. The product is easy to operate and has high precision by immersing in the viscosity measurement value of the Coating. It is suitable for viscosity detection of most coatings and meets the DIN 53211 standard.

Principle
The TQC immersion viscosity cup is filled with liquid by immersion in Coating, and then lifted vertically and timed. The viscosity value is calculated according to the outflow time from the time the liquid leaves the cup mouth to the first stop of the flow beam. The measurement process needs to keep the cup vertical and stable to ensure accuracy.

Steps
1. Ensure that the temperature of the liquid to be tested is 23 +/- 0.2 degrees Celsius;
2. Adjust the liquid temperature if necessary.
3. Select the appropriate pore size viscosity cup according to the estimated viscosity range;
4. Slowly immerse in the Coating until the top edge of the cup body is submerged;
5. Put in a thermometer to measure the sample temperature;
6. Remove the thermometer;
7. Hook the handle ring with your finger, quickly lift the cup vertically and start timing, keeping the cup body no more than 15cm above the sample surface;
8. Stop timing when the liquid beam stops flowing for the first time.
Notice
• Clean the outflow hole to remove residue and avoid scratching the inner surface;
• Do not drop or hit, it is a precision appliance;
• It needs to be cleaned after use.
• Use soft cloth when cleaning, avoid wire brush or sandpaper;
• Do not tap directly when disassembling the cup mouth, use a pin and a heavy object;
• Make sure it is clean before installing the cup nozzle;
• Put it back in the box when not in use;
• It is recommended to calibrate annually;
• Maintenance can ensure the accuracy of the experiment.
