The TQC Benchtop viscosity cup VF2049 is a precision test instrument made of titanium anodic oxidation aluminum material. It complies with ISO2431 international standards and has a filter diameter of 4mm. It is suitable for fluid testing in the viscosity range of 34 to 135cSt. The product was originally designed for rapid viscosity evaluation of products that comply with Newtonian mechanical properties. Principle
The Benchtop viscosity cup calculates the viscosity value based on the flow time of the fluid through the standard pore size. When the fluid fills the viscosity cup, release the outflow hole and start timing until the first breakpoint of the fluid occurs. The resulting time represents the conditional viscosity of the fluid. A fixed Flow rate test method can also be used to stop timing when 50ml of fluid flows out.

Steps
1. Select the appropriate Benchtop viscosity cup
2. Ensure that the viscosity cup and test fluid are at the required experimental temperature
3. Make sure there are no bubbles and debris in the fluid
4. Sealing the outflow hole, fill it with fluid, scrape off the excess test solution, and put away the receiving cup
5. Release the outflow hole to start the timing, and end the timing when the fluid appears at the first breakpoint
6. Fixed Flow rate test method: stop timing when 50ml of fluid flows out
Notice
• Use a suitable fine brush and solvent to clean the viscosity cup, and avoid using cleaning methods and tools that will cause scratches
• It is recommended to buy at least 1 standard viscosity cup with calibrated certificate for comparison and correction
Any change in the channel will have a significant impact on the outflow time
• The hole length of the viscosity cup is short, and special care is required for maintenance
