Overview
The YLD-6810 digital Cupping test machine is a professional test equipment of the YONGLIDA brand. It is suitable for evaluating coatings (single layer or supporting coatings) of steel plates, Paints varnish and related products under standard experimental methods for crushing test. The device can Test the resistance of steel plates and coatings to cracking or separation from metal after gradual deformation, evaluate their pass or fail state, and can determine the minimum depth at which the coating just cracks or begins to break off the substrate by gradually increasing the depth of crushing.
Features
1. Sinking speed range 0.01-0 mm/s, stroke length 0-12mm/s
2. Maximum panel width 105mm, maximum panel thickness steel 0.8mm, aluminum 1.2mm
3. Maximum speed steel panel 0.6mm/s, aluminum panel 0.7mm/s
4. Speed accuracy up to +/- 1% of the set speed
5. Maximum crushing force 5000N, punch diameter φ 20mm, mold diameter 27mm
6. Equipped with a color touchscreen display
7. Built-in emergency button safety device
8. Compact size 390 * 355 * 450mm, Net weight about 29kg
Principle
The tester applies pressure to the steel plate or coating sample by controlling the indentation speed to gradually deform it. Under the standard experimental method, the anti-cracking performance of the steel plate and coating or the separation performance from the metal substrate is evaluated by monitoring the deformation during the indentation process. The device can precisely control the depth of indentation and record the critical point at which the coating cracks or breaks off the substrate.
Applications
Steel plate test, Paints varnish coating test, coating performance evaluation
Standards
GB/T9753 Paints and varnish Cupping test
Steps
1. Prepare steel plates or coating samples
2. Set Depression Speed and Travel Parameters
3. Place the specimen in the test position
4. Start the equipment for indentation test
5. Observe and record coating cracking or separation
6. Read the minimum indentation depth data
7. Assess whether the test results pass or fail
Notice
• Make sure the sample size meets the equipment requirements before operation
• Set the indentation speed parameters strictly according to the standard
Be aware of the maximum panel thickness limitations for different materials (steel/aluminum)
• Closely observe coating changes during testing
• Use the emergency button to stop the device in an emergency
• Regularly check equipment accuracy and safety
