Overview
DB22-LX-SB foundry sand hardness gauge is a DUBAN brand product used to determine the surface Hardness of wet mold sand/core, providing technical parameters for formulating the molding process. The series is divided into three models: A, B, and C. Type B is suitable for surface hardness testing of fine and coarse sand/core molded by hand or mechanical low and medium pressure molding.
Features
1. Hardness value is expressed in H (A/B/C), which is consistent with the unit value (g/mm ²). If the unit value is large, the Hardness value is large

Principle
Hardness value is measured by applying pressure to the surface of the sand mold through the indenter. Compression Travel is 2.50mm, load is 980g, preload load is 50g, using ball R12.70 indenter, Hardness value is calculated according to the degree of deformation.

Steps
1. Install 2 AA batteries
2. Measuring location
3. Align the indenter vertically with the sand surface
4. Pressure measurement
5. Read Hardness/Average/MAX Maximum
6. Transfer data via USB or Bluetooth connection to PC
Notice
• Measurement range limited to 10~ 90HA (HB/HC)
• Working Ambient Temperature should be kept at 0~ 40 ℃, Humidity < 80% RH
• Pay attention to the battery power and replace it in time
• Ensure that the indenter is clean to avoid affecting the Measurement accuracy
• Keep the instrument vertically aligned with the test surface during use
