Overview
The DB20-LX-T series Spinning & weaving hardness gauge is a special measuring instrument for DUBAN brand model DB20-LX-T10 for the measurement of the winding density (Hardness) of Spinning & weaving bobbins, warps, reels, cones, dyed bags, etc. The principle of its measurement of fabric Hardness is based on the measurement of the penetration resistance of the ball to the shaft under known spring load.
Features
1. Convertible Probe, the Probe curved end is used for bobbins with a diameter of less than or equal to 400mm, and the Probe flat end is suitable for bobbins with a diameter greater than 400mm.
2. Average calculation, MAX Maximum latch, undervoltage alarm indication function.
3. Use USB cable and Bluetooth data output to communicate with PC.
Principle
Spinning & weaving hardness gauges measure fabric Hardness based on the measurement of ball-to-spool penetration resistance under known spring loads.
Applications
Spinning & weaving bobbins, warps, reels, cones, staining kits
Steps
1. Select the Probe end face according to the diameter of the bobbin: the curved end is used for diameters ≤ 400mm, and the flat end is used for diameters > 400mm.
2. Turn on the device and check the battery voltage.
3. Align the indenter at the measurement site to apply pressure.
4. Read Hardness, Average or MAX Maximum.
5. Data can be transferred via USB or Bluetooth connection to the PC.
Notice
• Ensure Ambient Temperature at 0~ 40 ℃ and Humidity < 80% RH.
• Check battery level before use to avoid low voltage affecting Measurement accuracy.
• Choose the Probe end face correctly according to the bobbin diameter.
• Keep the indenter perpendicular to the measurement surface during measurement.
• Avoid use on samples beyond the Measurement range of 10~ 90H.
Periodically calibrate equipment to ensure Accuracy ≤ +/- 1H.
