Overview
Drawdown Bar & Blade Lab Film Applicator TBJ-X2-DJ14 is a custom-made Vacuum chuck Coater with an enlarged Spreader size, with an effective area of 750 * 1100mm, using bar and removable Blade Coating methods. The automatic film applicator can solve the problem of artificial film inconsistency. By precisely controlling the speed and pressure of the Spreader, the precise wet-film can be scraped on different substrates, which greatly improves the reproducibility of the film.

Principle
The Automatic Film Applicator uses a Vacuum chuck to fix the substrate and uses a bar or a removable drawdown blade for Spreader. During the Spreader process, the speed of the Spreader is controlled by stepless variable speed, and the pressure applied to the film applicator is precisely adjusted to ensure uniform coating, reduce differences caused by human factors, and achieve a highly reproducible wet-film Spreader.

Steps
1. Prepare the substrate and place it on the Spreader stage.
2. Start the Vacuum chuck system to fix the substrate.
3. Set Spreader parameters such as Spreader Speed, Travel, and Thickness through Touchscreen.
4. Select the bar or Blade Coating method.
5. Start the Spreader process to automatically complete the film.
6. After the Spreader is finished, turn off the device and clean the Spreader components.
Notice
• Make sure the substrate is flat and fixed before Spreader to avoid uneven thickness affecting the Spreader effect.
• Regularly clean drawdown blades and bars to prevent residues from affecting accuracy.
• When setting Spreader parameters, pay attention to the speed range limit, and customize if it is lower than 5mm/s.
• When using Vacuum chuck, check whether the vacuum pump and aperture are normal.
• Follow equipment power requirements when operating, using 220V 50Hz power supply.
• Optional accessories such as leakage tank, fixing fixture, etc. should be selected according to application requirements.
