Overview
The NDT220 + Color Leeb hardness tester is a Portable hardness testing instrument with a true color LCD display. Principle
This hardness gauge works based on the principle of Richter hardness testing. The tungsten carbide impactor is ejected to the surface of the material to be tested by the Impact device, and the ratio of the rebound velocity of the impactor to the impact velocity at a distance of 1mm from the surface of the sample is measured. The ratio is related to the Richter hardness value of the material. The internal processor of the instrument calculates and directly displays the hardness value according to this principle, and can be converted into the common hardness standard of Miscellaneous in parallel.

Steps
1. Select the appropriate Impact device according to the tested material and install it.
2. Start the machine and make an indication calibrate if necessary.
3. Set measurement parameters, such as hardness standards, upper and lower limit alarm values, etc.
4. Press the Impact device vertically or in the allowable direction (360 ° vertically downward, obliquely downward, horizontally, obliquely upward, vertically upward) against the surface of the tested material.
5. Trigger the Impact device for measurement and read the hardness value displayed on the screen.
6, repeability measurement data will be automatically stored (up to 600 sets).
7. Connect the computer through the USB interface and export the measurement data.
Notice
* Work and storage should be within the specified temperature and humidity range: operating temperature -10 ℃~ + 55 ℃, storage temperature -20 ℃~ + 75 ℃, relative humidity < 90%.
* It should be used and stored in the surrounding environment without vibration, strong magnetic field, corrosive medium and serious dust.
* Impact direction should be within the 360 ° allowed by the instrument during measurement.
* Please confirm its applicability according to the type of material tested (such as steel and cast steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, etc.) before use.
Pay attention to battery life and charge it in time (using a 5V/1000mA power supply, the charging time is about 2.5 to 4.5 hours).
* The instrument has an indication software calibrating function, and it is recommended to calibrate regularly to ensure measurement accuracy.
