Overview
The DBJ electric cupping instrument is mainly composed of four parts: film pressing parts, variable speed parts, base parts and digital display parts of the indentation value. It adopts a large torque stepper motor, has the function of automatic reset and zero return, and has no accumulated error. The indentation depth value is displayed through Touchscreen control. The instrument is designed according to the international standard ISO1520 and the national standard GB/T9753-88, and is suitable for evaluating the performance of Paints, varnish and related product coatings against cracking or separation from metal substrates after gradual deformation under standard conditions. The coating can be evaluated according to the specified indentation depth test to pass or not, or to determine the minimum depth of cracking or detachment of the coating.
Features
1. Adopt large torque stepper motor to ensure stable operation
2. Automatic reset to zero function, no cumulative error
3. Touchscreen control displays the depression depth value, and the operation is intuitive
4. High indentation accuracy, up to 0.01mm
5. Adjustable sinking speed, range 0.1-0 mm/s
6. Punch Maximum Travel 18mm, Adapt to Various Test Requirements
Principle
The DBJ electric cupping instrument drives the laminated film part through a stepper motor, so that the test plate is gradually deformed under standard conditions, and the digital display part of the indentation value displays the depth change in real time. The instrument applies pressure to the coating according to ISO1520 and GB/T9753-88 standards to evaluate its resistance to cracking or separation from the metal substrate. The critical point of the coating can be determined by setting the indentation depth or gradually increasing the depth.
Applications
Paints coating evaluation, varnish coating evaluation, coating performance test of related products
Standards
ISO1520、GB/T9753-88
Steps
1. Prepare the test plate, the specification is 75mm × 150mm × 0.03mm-3mm
2. Set the indentation diameter 20mm and indentation speed 0.1-0 mm/s
3. Start the instrument and control the indentation process through Touchscreen
4. Observe the digital display and record the indentation depth value
5. According to the standard evaluation of coating pass or fail, or determine the minimum cracking depth
Notice
• Test plate specifications should be strictly controlled within the range of 75mm × 150mm × 0.03mm-3mm
• The indentation speed should be adjusted according to the test requirements to avoid being too fast or too slow
• Regularly check the instrument components to ensure that there are no accumulated errors
• Pay attention to safety during operation to prevent damage to the test plate or components
• The depth of indentation shall not exceed the maximum 18mm
