Overview
JINGKELIAN ZND-1 No. 2 Zain Viscometer is an outflow Viscometer with a long handle, suitable for the measurement of fluid viscosity values such as Coating paints in the viscosity range of 20~ 250cst. The viscosity value of the measurement is "conditional viscosity". The Viscometer is made of stainless steel and has a precision drilled nozzle for quick inspection and adjustment of the viscosity of many different fluids in workshops, laboratories, etc.
Features
1. Made of stainless steel, strong durability
2. Precision drilling nozzle design for measurement of liquids with a wide range of centimeters viscosity
3. Suitable for workshops, laboratories and other occasions
4. Quick inspection and adjustment of fluid viscosity
5. According to the different diameter of the outflow hole, it is divided into five models to meet different viscosity measurement needs
Principle
The Zahn Cup was originally designed for rapid viscosity and conformity assessment of products that meet or are close to Newtonian mechanical properties, providing a high degree of Accuracy and repeatability based on production mass. Modern viscosity cups are manufactured according to international standards and specify not only precise dimensional tolerances, but also usage methods and data recording requirements.
Applications
Coatings, paints and other fluid viscosity measurement
Standards
ASTM816、ASTM1084
Steps
1. Select the appropriate ZND-1 Zain Viscometer (please check the outflow time)
2. Ensure that the ZND-1 Zain Viscometer and test fluid are at the required experimental temperature
3. Ensure that there are no bubbles and debris in the fluid
4. Sealing the outflow hole (by hand), fill it with fluid, and cut off the excess part with a paddle
5. Release your hand from the outflow hole and start the timer until the first breakpoint of the fluid occurs
6. Fixed Flow rate test method: The procedure is similar to Article 5, but the stop timing time should be when 50ml of fluid is discharged
Notice
• It is recommended to buy at least 1 standard Zahn Cup with calibrated certificate
• Draw a calibration chart by comparing the results of the measurement ZND-1 Zain Viscometer with the standard product sample of the standard viscosity cup measurement product
• The channel length of the Zahn Cup is short, and any change in the channel will have a significant impact on the outflow time
• Clean viscosity cups need to be cleaned with suitable fine brushes and solvents
• Do not use cleaning methods and cleaning tools that can cause scratches
