Overview
The AMITTARI AR-132CT concrete surface texture tester is a Portable asperity measuring instrument widely used on construction sites for measuring concrete surface roughness, calculating parameters according to selected conditions and displaying them clearly on LCD monitors. The instrument uses computer technology and complies with several international standards.

Principle
During measurement, the Sensor is placed on the surface of the workpiece to be measured, and the internal driving mechanism drives the Sensor to slide at constant speed. The Sensor has a built-in sharp stylus to feel the surface roughness. The displacement of the stylus changes the Inductance of the Sensor Inductance coil, and generates an analog signal proportional to the asperity at the output of the phase-sensitive rectifier. The signal is amplified and level converted into the data collection system. The DSP chip performs digital filtering and parameter calculation. The results are displayed on the liquid crystal display and can be connected to the PC for Data analysis and printing.

Steps
1. Place the Sensor on the measured surface of the workpiece.
2. Select Measurement conditions.
3. Start the instrument, Sensor automatic sliding measurement.
4. Check the Measurement parameters displayed on the LCD display.
5. Optional connection to PC for Data analysis and printing.
