Overview
AMITTARI AT-140C Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is suitable for thickness measurement and corrosion measurement of boilers, storage tanks, pipes, pipes, slabs, forgings, flanges, hulls, decks, tracks, machined parts, etc. in the petrochemical industry, shipbuilding industry, automobile manufacturing industry, power stations, and machine manufacturing industries. For most materials that can transmit ultrasonic waves, this instrument can be used to measure thickness, such as metals, ceramics, plastics, nylon, Glass, etc.
Features
1. With Strong Transmitting Power and High Broadband Receiving Sensitivity, it can adapt to Probes of Different Frequencies, and can be measured on rough surfaces, lacquered surfaces, and even some gray cast iron.
2. The scope of application is almost universal in all industrial industries.
3. AT-140C bidirectional measurement, for materials within the Measurement range, the known Speed of sound measurable thickness, the known thickness measurable Speed of sound.
4. Automatically memorize material codes and sound velocity values for ease of use.
5. With coupling status prompt function; automatic shutdown, manual shutdown function.
6. Using USB data cable output, data collection with PC.
7. In addition, there are Bluetooth data output options.
Principle
Digital Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge generates short ultrasonic pulses from the Sensor that pass through the inside of the material from the outer surface, reflection on the back or inner surface and return to the Sensor; and precise measurement of the time required for this process to determine the thickness of the part or structure. The measured bi-directional crossing time is divided by 2 to calculate the penetration and reflection propagation path, which is then multiplied by the Speed of sound in the material.
Applications
Petrochemical industry, shipbuilding, automobile manufacturing, power station, machine manufacturing, boilers, oil storage tanks, pipes, pipes, slabs, forgings, flanges, hulls, decks, tracks, machined parts, metals, ceramics, plastics, nylon, Glass
Steps
1. Place the Sensor on the surface of the material to be tested.
2. Use a coupling agent to ensure a good coupling state.
3. Measurement mode based on known Speed of sound or thickness.
4. Read the thickness or Speed of sound value on the display.
5. Data can be output to PC via USB or Bluetooth.
Notice
• Operating temperature range is 0 ° C~ 40 ° C.
• The relative humidity should be less than 85% RH.
• Powered by 2 AA batteries.
• Measurement accuracy depends on materials and conditions.
• The lower limit of pipe measurement is determined by Probe, such as φ 15 * 2.0mm, φ 20 * 3.0mm.
Make sure the Sensor is well coupled to the material surface for accurate measurements.
