Overview
The JL-A301 Carr Angle of Repose tester is an instrument suitable for testing powder Carr Angle of Repose. It uses the injection-limited bottom surface method to measure dust Carr Angle of Repose, which is easy to operate and durable. It is suitable for Carr Angle of Repose testing of various metal powders, Non-metallic powders, food, chemical, lithium battery and other powder production and processing industries, as well as related powder powders and granular materials such as scientific research institutions and Quality inspection organizations.
Features
1. Determination of Carr Angle of Reposed Dust by Injection Limited Bottom Method
2. Easy to operate and durable
3. The funnel outlet diameter can be customized (5mm or 10mm)
4. The plug is made of stainless steel
5. Meet the requirements of national standards
Principle
Carr Angle of Repose can be obtained by measuring the angle between the cone surface and the bottom surface of the cone. Carr Angle of Repose can also be calculated from the diameter and height of the obtained cone. Carr Angle of Repose is one of the physical parameters that express the dynamic characteristics of powders and is an important basis for designing dust removal equipment and feeding equipment. The size of Carr Angle of Repose can reflect the flowability of the powder. The smaller the Carr Angle of Repose, the better the flowability of the powder.
Applications
Metal powder, Non-metallic powder, food, chemical industry, lithium battery and other powder production and processing industries, scientific research institutions, Quality inspection organizations
Standards
GB/T 16913-2008、GB/T 31057.3-2018
Steps
1. Assemble the components of the measuring device on the test bench to make the device in a horizontal state, and toggle the protractor to make it in a vertical position
2. Load the powder into 100ml of glassgraduates with scale, plug the funnel outlet with a stopper, and slowly pour all the powder in glassgraduates with scale into the funnel
3. Pull out the plug rod to make the powder flow out of the funnel hole; for the powder with poor flowability, you can agitate the powder by tapping the funnel or using a stick needle to make the powder fall continuously to the horizontal powder plate through the funnel to form a cone
4. After all the dust flows out, the swirl/spin protractor measures the angle between the powder cone bus and the horizontal plane and records it
5. Measure 3 times in a row and calculate the arithmetic average as the measurement result
Notice
• The device needs to be in a horizontal state after assembly
• The protractor needs to be turned to the vertical position
• The powder needs to be slowly poured into the funnel
• For powder with poor flowability, it can be stirred by tapping the funnel or using a stick needle
• It is necessary to measure the arithmetic average 3 times in a row
