Toilet paper softness tester is a kind of testing instrument that simulates the softness of the hand. It is mainly used for the softness measurement of sheet soft software materials such as medium and high-grade toilet paper and fiber fabrics.

Principle
The instrument is pressed into the sample at a speed of 1.2mm/s through the probe, the pressing depth is 8 + 0.5mm, the measurement of the force value of the sample against deformation, and the softness of the material is measured by simulating the touch of the human hand.

Steps
1. Connect AC 220V +/- 22V, 50Hz power supply
2. Select the appropriate specimen stage narrow width (5mm, 6.35mm, 10mm or 20mm)
3. Place the specimen on the specimen bench
4. Start the test, the probe is pressed into the sample at a speed of 1.2mm/s
Wait 15 seconds for Measurement time to complete
6. Read and record softness measurement results
Notice
• Power supply voltage must be within the range of AC 220V +/- 22V
• Before testing, confirm that the parallelism error on both sides of the sample table slot-die is less than or equal to 0.05mm.
Measurement time should be strictly controlled to 15 seconds
• The narrow width of the sample stage should be determined according to the characteristics of the sample
• The probe indentation depth should be kept within the range of 8 + 0.5mm
