Overview
HI93701-01 is a photometer Reagent from the HANNA brand designed for the measurement of residual chlorine concentration. The Reagent uses a pre-measured high-mass formulation that follows the DPD method to render the sample pink by reacting with chlorine. Color intensity is determined and concentration is displayed using a compatible photometer. Suitable for samples in the expected range of 0.00 to 5.00 mg/L free chlorine, providing 100 test times to ensure fast and accurate Colorimetric measurement.
Features
1. Pre-measurement design, easy and fast operation
2. Using the DPD method, the response is sensitive and accurate
3. Measurement range of 0.00~ 5.00 mg/L free chlorine
4. Provide 100 test times, economical and practical
5. Compatible with HANNA photometer, reliable results
Principle
HI93701-01 Reagent works based on the DPD method. When the Reagent comes into contact with free chlorine in the sample, a chemical reaction occurs, resulting in a pink color. Color intensity is proportional to the chlorine concentration. Color intensity is determined by a compatible photometer, and the instrument automatically calculates and displays the chlorine concentration value in milligrams per liter.
Applications
Water quality analysis, environment monitoring
Steps
1. Prepare the sample to be tested and a compatible photometer
2. Add HI93701-01 Reagent to the sample
3. Wait for the reaction to complete and the sample will appear pink
4. Put the sample into the photometer for measurement
5. Read and record the displayed chlorine concentration value
Notice
• Only for free chlorine samples in the expected range of 0.00 to 5.00 mg/L
• Requires compatible photometer for measurement
• Strictly follow the operation steps
• Reagent storage conditions to avoid contamination
• The number of tests is 100, please use it reasonably
