Overview
HI93707-01 is a photometer Reagent of the HANNA brand, designed for the measurement of low concentration nitrite. The Reagent pre-measurement allows users to achieve fast and accurate Colorimetric measurement, providing 0 to 600 μg/L (as NO2-N) Measurement range, 100 test times, widely used in water quality analysis and environment monitoring.
Features
1. Pre-measurement of high-mass Reagents to ensure easy operation and reliable results
2. Based on the diazotization method adapted from EPA method 354.1, the reaction produces pink color for easy Colorimetric measurement
3. Measurement range 0~ 600μg/L (as NO2-N), suitable for low concentration nitrite detection
4. Provide 100 test times, economical and practical
5. Compatible with Portable Photometer (HI96707) and Benchtop Photometer, results are displayed in milligrams per liter (ppm)
Principle
The Reagent uses a diazotization method, adapted from EPA Method 354.1. Pink appears in the sample after the nitrite reacts with the Reagent. The nitrite content is determined by adding the Reagent to the sample and measuring the resulting Color concentration using a compatible Benchtop or Portable photometer after the reaction occurs.
Applications
Water quality analysis, environment monitoring
Standards
EPA Method 354.1
Steps
1. Add Reagent to Sample
2. Wait for the reaction to occur and the sample appears pink
3. Color concentration measurement using compatible Benchtop or Portable photometers
4. Read the nitrite results in milligrams per liter (ppm)
Notice
• Reagents are designed for samples within the expected range of the meter used
• Ensure sample concentrations in the range of 0 to 600 μg/L (as NO2-N) for accurate results
• Check Reagent Encasement Integrity Before Use to Avoid Contamination
• Follow Instrument Operation Manual for measurement
