Principle

HI93720-01 Reagent is based on an adaptation of the calcite method. Calcium reacts with the Reagent resulting in the appearance of red in the sample. The reaction occurs by adding the Reagent to the sample. Color concentration produced is measured using a compatible Benchtop or Portable meter. The results are displayed in milligrams per liter (ppm) as Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3).
