Overview
HI93723-01 is a photometer Reagent from the HANNA brand for the measurement of hexavalent chromium concentration. The Reagent uses a high-mass formulation for pre-measurement, allowing users to achieve fast and accurate Colorimetric measurements for samples in the 0 to 1000 μg/L (ppb) hexavalent chromium range, providing 100 test times.
Features
1. Pre-measurement design, easy to operate
2. High mass formulation to ensure measurement accuracy
3. The test range covers 0~ 1000μg/L hexavalent chromium
4. Provide 100 test times
5. Compatible with a variety of HANNA photometer models
Principle
The Reagent is based on an adaptation of the diphenylcarbohydrazide method. After hexavalent chromium reacts with the Reagent, purple color is produced in the sample. By adding the Reagent to the sample, the reaction occurs, the resulting Color concentration is measured using a compatible photometer, and the results are displayed in μg/L (ppb) of hexavalent chromium.
Applications
Water quality analysis, environment monitoring
Steps
1. Add Reagent to Sample
2. Wait for the reaction to occur and the sample appears purple
3. Color concentration measurement using a compatible photometer
4. Read and record hexavalent chromium concentration results
Notice
• Only compatible photometer models: HI83099, HI83200, HI83205, HI83206, HI96723
Sample range should be within 0 to 1000 μg/L of hexavalent chromium
• Strictly follow the operation steps to perform measurements
• Reagent storage conditions to avoid contamination
