Principle

The method is an adaptation of photometry. The reaction between the nickel and the Reagent results in the appearance of blue in the sample. By simply adding the Reagent to the sample, the reaction occurs, a Hanna compatible Benchtop or Portable meter determines the concentration from the resulting Color, and the result is displayed in milligrams per liter (ppm) of nickel.
