Overview
HI3148B is an ORP Electrode from the HANNA brand, featuring a Glass body design with a Platinum Sensor and CPS anti-clogging technology. The Electrode can be refilled with 3.5M potassium chloride electrolysis and uses a BNC connector for applications such as wine.

Principle
ORP Electrode detects the Oxidation-reduction potential of the sample with a Platinum Sensor, which itself is not oxidized or reduced, ensuring chemical inertness. The reference signal and Sensor signal are conducted through the Electrode body to the measurement instrument, resulting in an mV reading. The CPS technology utilizes the porosity of frosted Glass and PTFE casing to maintain electrolysis flow and prevent clogging, while the double junction design isolates silver ions and reduces interference.
Steps
1. Remove the filling cap to generate positive head pressure and increase electrolysis Flow velocity.
2. Connect the Electrode to a pH/mV meter with a BNC input.
3. Electrode immersion in the sample for measurement.
4. Wait for the reading to stabilize and record the result.

• Electrode temperature range is -5 ° C to 80 ° C, avoid using beyond this range.
