XH-DH5 type masonry mortar strength point load instrument is a special instrument developed and produced by Tiandi Spark brand according to GB/T50315-2011 "Technical Regulations for on-site inspection of masonry engineering", which is used for masonry mortar strength detection. Its characteristics are that it can be tested directly on site or in the laboratory, and does not affect the wall's mechanical performance. It has the advantages of easy detection, convenient operation, and high-precision testing. It meets the needs of on-site quality control of masonry engineering and mass identification and evaluation of old and ancient houses.

Principle
When the point load meter is working, the pre-taken mortar sample is placed on the indenter, and the handle is slowly turned clockwise manually to move the lifting screw down and load the mortar sample on the top of the head to generate a pressure load. Then slowly and evenly apply the load until the sample is damaged. At this time, the intelligent digital pressure display automatically maintains and displays the maximum load value.

Steps
1. Place the pre-taken mortar sample on the indenter of the point load instrument.
2. Manually turn the handle slowly clockwise to move the lifting screw down and load the mortar sample.
3. Apply the load slowly and evenly until the mortar sample breaks down.
4. Read the maximum load value maintained on the intelligent digital pressure display.
Notice
• Load should be applied slowly and evenly to avoid sudden loading.
