Overview
HUITAO HT-1079 Wire and cable abrasion tester is dedicated to Wire and cable abrasion performance testing equipment, suitable for a variety of standard requirements of test conditions, to ensure Wire and cable insulation durability evaluation under mechanical scraping.
Features
1. Use reciprocating friction and line contact to ensure test accuracy
2. Equipped with a color 7-inch Touchscreen, support Chinese and English interface switching
3. Needle diameter can be selected from (0.25 +/- 0.01) mm or (0.45 +/- 0.01) mm to meet different testing requirements
4. Needle Frequency (55 +/- 5) cycle/min, displacement (20 +/- 1) mm, abrasion length (15.5 +/- 1) mm
5. The vertical force of the sample is constant under dynamic conditions, and the installation force of the sample is guaranteed not to shift
6. The number of tests can be preset 0-99999999 times, with power-off memory function
7. Automatic shutdown device, which automatically stops when the scraper needle wears through the insulating layer and comes into contact with the conductor
8. Scraper needle load optional 800g, 900g, 1000g, 1100g, load weight can be stacked configuration
Principle
Wire and cable insulation is scraped using a reciprocating needle that applies a constant vertical force on the surface to simulate mechanical abrasion in actual use. When the needle is worn through the insulating layer and comes into contact with the internal conductor, the device automatically detects and stops, recording the number of scrapes to evaluate the scratch resistance of the insulating layer. During the test, the specimen mounting force ensures that it does not shift, and the voltage is applied according to the cable type (e.g. 60V or 600V) to verify the insulation integrity.
Applications
Wire and cable abrasion test
Standards
ISO6722、GBT25085、JIS C 3406、JASO D611
Steps
1. Take three test samples every 1m from the 3m cable sample, peel off the insulating layer, and be careful not to deform
For a 60V cable, immerse the sample in the bath solution for 4 hours, apply a 1kV test voltage for 30 minutes, and then increase at 500V/s to 3kV (cable < 0.5mm2) or 5kV (cable > 0.5mm2).
For 600V cables, maintain the 3kV or 5kV voltage for 5 minutes after completing the 60V program
4. Set the needle parameters (such as load, Frequency), start the equipment for sandpaper abrasion test
5. Record the number of scratches after the automatic shutdown of the equipment, and evaluate the results
Notice
• Avoid deformation when preparing the sample. If there is a marked Crain, it needs to be sampled by Crain.
• When the wire is fixed, the tension shall not exceed 100MPa.
• Ensure that the needle load and weight configuration meet the test requirements
• Check that the power supply of the device is AC220V, 50Hz before testing
• Follow standard operations to prevent misoperation from affecting test results
