Overview
HUITAO HT-2285-6 Martindale Wear resistance Tester is a professional equipment for testing the Abrasion Resistance and pilling performance of fabrics. It is suitable for testing the resistance and apparent pilling performance of woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, non-woven fabrics, decorative materials, coating fabrics and other materials.
Features
1. Adopt a 6-station design to support simultaneous testing of multiple samples.
2. The friction method is swirl/spin, and the contact form is surface contact;
3. The counting range is as wide as 0-999999 times, meeting long-term testing requirements.
4. Provide a variety of pressurized mass options, including grippers, fabric sample hammers, furniture decoration sample hammers and stainless steel discs;
5. The relative movement speed of the gripper and the grinding table is adjustable, with a range of 20-70rpm.
6. Equipped with sample pressure hammer, the mass is accurate 2385 +/- 10g.
Principle
The tested fabric is installed in the upper sample fixture and rubbed against the abrasive installed on the grinding table, and the friction track is Li Sharu pattern. According to the test requirements, after the specified friction stage, the fabric is removed for wear resistance index calculation or the fluff and pilling grades of the sample are evaluated by visual description.
Applications
Woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, non-woven fabrics, decorative materials, coated fabrics
Standards
ISO 5470、ISO12945.2、ISO12947、ASTM D4966、ASTM D4970、GB/T 4802.2、GB/T21196、GB/T13775、EN ISO 12947、BS ISO12947
Steps
1. Install the fabric under test into the upper specimen fixture;
2. Install the abrasive on the grinding table;
3. Set friction parameters, such as speed and frequency.
4. Start the equipment for friction testing.
5. Remove the fabric after the test is completed.
6. Calculate the wear resistance index or evaluate the pilling grade.
Notice
• Ensure that the specimen and abrasive are firmly installed to avoid loosening during testing;
• Select the appropriate pressurized mass according to the test criteria;
The friction speed should be adjustable within the range of 20-70rpm.
• Regularly check equipment counters and moving parts to ensure accuracy;
• Clean the mill and fixture in time after the test to prevent residues from affecting the results.
