Overview
HUITAO HT-2285-8 Martindale Wear resistance Tester is a professional device for testing fabric Abrasion Resistance and pilling performance. It is suitable for a variety of fabric materials, including woven, knitted, non-woven, decorative and coated fabrics, and evaluates the durability of materials by simulating friction processes.

Principle
The testing machine rubs the tested fabric with the abrasive on the grinding table by installing it in the upper sample fixture. The friction trajectory is Li Sharu pattern. After the specified friction stage, the fabric is removed for wear resistance index calculation or the fluff and pilling grades are evaluated by visual description to evaluate the wear resistance performance of the fabric.

Steps
1. Install the fabric under test into the upper specimen fixture
2. Install the abrasive on the grinding table
3. Set friction parameters such as friction stage and speed
4. Start the equipment for friction testing
5. After the specified friction stage, remove the fabric
6. Calculate the wear resistance index or evaluate the pilling grade
Notice
• Ensure that the pressurized mass meets the standard requirements, such as gripper 200 +/- 1g
The type of friction head should be selected according to the test standard, type A or type B
• Sampling hammer mass should be accurate to 2385 +/- 10g
• Friction trajectory needs to maintain Li Sharu graphics
• Check equipment counting range and motion speed settings before testing
