HUITAO HT-2285-9 Martindale Wear resistance Tester is a professional equipment for testing fabric Abrasion Resistance and pilling performance. It is suitable for abrasion resistance and apparent pilling performance testing of woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, non-woven fabrics, decorative materials, coating fabrics and other materials.

Principle
The tested fabric is installed in the upper sample fixture and rubbed against the abrasive installed on the grinding table, and the friction track is Li Sharu pattern. According to the test requirements, after the specified friction stage, the fabric is removed for the calculation of the wear resistance index or the visual description method is used to evaluate the fluff and pilling grades of the sample.

Steps
1. Install the fabric in the upper specimen holder
2. Install the abrasive on the grinding table
3. Set the number of friction and speed parameters
4. Start the equipment for friction testing
5. Remove the fabric after reaching the specified friction stage
6. Calculate the wear resistance index or evaluate the pilling grade
