Overview
The HT-F776 Tear Strength Tester is a HUITAO brand product. It uses the tearing principle to test the Tear Strength of paper, Plastic film and sheet according to the Elmendorf method. It is suitable for testing the tear resistance of paper, film, sheet, soft polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC), waterproof membranes, woven materials, polyolefin, polyester, Spinning & weaving products and non-woven fabrics.
Features
High Accuracy Angle Sensor with resolution up to 0.1mN ensures test Precision within +/- 1%.
2. It is the Tear Strength instrument with high accuracy in China and the user can use the self-matching weight for indication and correction.
3. The attached weighing weight can be easily calibrated at any time.
4. Built-in pendulum shaft friction compensation device reduces the impact of friction on the test, making the results more accurate and stable.
Principle
The Tear Strength tester is tested according to the Elmendorf method using the tearing principle. The friction effect is reduced by the built-in pendulum shaft friction compensation device to ensure the accuracy and stability of the test process.
Applications
Paper, film, sheet, soft polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC), waterproofing membrane, woven materials, polyolefins, polyesters, Spinning & weaving products, non-woven fabrics
Standards
ISO6383/2-1983、GB11999-89、ISO1974、TAPPI414、GB455
Steps
Prepare the specimen and ensure that the incision length is 20 +/- 0.5mm.
2. Clip the specimen into the paper holder at a distance of (2.8 +/- 0.3) mm.
3. Start the instrument and set the parameters through the Touchscreen.
4. Perform a tear test and the instrument automatically records the data.
5. Use the included weight to calibrate (optional).
Notice
• Make sure the power supply is AC220V, 50Hz to avoid voltage instability affecting the test.
• Before testing, check whether the incision length of the sample meets the requirements of 20 +/- 0.5mm.
• Regularly use self-matching weight for indication and correction to ensure accuracy.
• Be careful to keep the distance between the paper jacks at (2.8 +/- 0.3) mm.
• Optional Tear Strength Sampler can assist sampling and improve efficiency.
