Overview
HUITAO HT-110A coating Scratching Tester is mainly used to evaluate the scratch resistance (scratch characteristics) of films, plastics, films, automotive interior and exterior decoration materials. The instrument can perform "vertical loading tests" in accordance with ISO and ASTM international standards to evaluate the scratch characteristics of materials in a standardized way.

Principle
The tester evaluates the scratch resistance of a material through a "vertical loading test". During the test, the instrument moves the scratch head horizontally while applying a vertical load according to standard procedures (such as increasing the load method). The force sensor detects the force during the scratch process in real time, thereby quantifying the scratch characteristics of the material.

Steps
1. Prepare the sample to be tested and install it on the tester.
2. Set test parameters according to test standards (e.g. ISO 19252 or ASTM D7027-05), including vertical load range, scratch speed, scratch distance, etc.
3. Start the test, the instrument will automatically perform the scratch operation from left to right, and increase the load according to the set procedure.
4. During the test, the Force Sensor collects data in real time.
5. After the test is completed, the instrument records and stores the measurement results (about 1000 results can be stored).
6. View and analyze test data through the Operating interface.
Notice
• Please use this instrument in the specified measurement environment (temperature 10~ 40 ℃, Humidity 30~ 70% RH, no condensation).
Make sure you are familiar with the test requirements of relevant international standards (ASTM D7027-05, ISO 19252) before operation.
• Note that the power consumption of the whole instrument is 60w, please use the matching power supply.
• According to the characteristics of the tested material, set the parameters of vertical load (1~ 200N) and scratch speed (1~ 400mm/sec) reasonably.
Maintain and calibrate Force Sensors regularly to ensure Measurement accuracy （ +/- below 0.5% F. S).
• The scratch direction of the instrument is fixed from left to right. Please pay attention to the direction when installing the sample.
Do not exceed the maximum horizontal load specified by the instrument (200N).
