Overview
The NWZ Stain Resistance Testing Machine is a SHIBO brand equipment used in laboratories to evaluate the stain resistance performance of interior-wall coatings. The machine evaluates the stain resistance by simulating the stain Spreader and scruf processes, comparing the film reflection coefficient changes, and uses a dual grinding head assembly configuration.
Features
1. Double grinding head assembly configuration to improve test efficiency
2. Equipped with quick clamps and adjustable rubber chucks to adapt to different thickness test plates
3. Counter preset function, precise control of scruf times
4. Standard counterweight design to ensure conformity of test conditions
Principle
Based on ASTM D4828 and GB/T9780-2013 standards, the Coating Dry-Film is tested for initial reflection coefficient after curing under standard conditions. After Spreader stains, the machine is used for a specified number of scrufs, and the reflection coefficient of the scruf area is tested after rinsing and drying. The stain resistance performance is evaluated by comparing the reflection coefficients before and after.
Applications
Stain resistance performance evaluation of interior-wall Coatings
Standards
ASTM D4828、GB/T9780-2013
Steps
1. Put the test plate into the working plate, flatten it with a pressing frame and clamp it with a quick clamp
2. Fix absorbentcottonph gauze on the grinding head, put it in the grinding head frame and add 500 grams of counterweight
3. Turn on the power supply and start the device after presetting the number of counters
4. After the test is completed, remove the test plate for evaluation
5. To continue the test, you need to press the reset button before starting.
Notice
• There must be no string movement after the test plate is clamped
• The total weight of the grinding head must be 1500g (including 500g counterweight)
• A new test can only be started after the counter is reset to zero
• Power supply voltage 220V 50Hz before operation
