Principle
The Working Principle is to drop a steel cylindrical impact block from a specified height along a vertical conduit to the steel ball with a specified diameter and Hardness on the surface of the test piece. According to the degree of damage to the paint film on the surface of the test piece by the impact part, the anti-impact ability of the paint film is evaluated by a numerical grade.
Applications
Impact Assessment of Surface Paint Film on Furniture Wooden Parts
Standards
GB/T4893.9-2013 standard
Steps
1. Place the test piece on the working base; 2. Adjust the Impact block to the specified height; 3. Release the Impact block to drop the Impact ball along the catheter; 4. Observe and record the degree of paint film damage; 5. Assess the impact resistance according to the grade.
Notice
• Ensure that the weight of the Impact block is within the range of 500 +/- 5g; • Check whether the diameter and Hardness of the steel ball meet the standards before use; • Avoid the impact block falling and hurting people during operation; • Regularly calibrate the height and scale of the catheter; • Keep the instrument clean to prevent affecting the Test accuracy.
