Overview
The QGZ-A linear film Drying time Recorder is a new instrument of SHIBO brand, which is used to measure the drying time of various coatings such as Paints and varnish to form a stable film on the surface. The instrument automatically draws a straight line trajectory to continuously show the status of each stage of the film drying process, and intuitively analyzes the time used in each stage.
Features
1. Adopt linear design to automatically and continuously draw the drying process track
2. Equipped with 6 scratches to support multiple sets of simultaneous tests
3. Small measurement error, accuracy of +/- 4%
4. Easy to operate, intuitive display of drying stage status
Principle
Place the prepared paint film test plate on the test plate tray. After turning on the power supply, the motor drives the scribe needle through the lead screw to perform a uniform linear motion (the whole process is 305mm). As the paint film gradually dries, the plow marks formed by the scribe needle on the paint film become narrower and shallower from width to depth until no traces can be drawn, thus showing the complete drying process.
Applications
Coatings industry, paints production, mass testing, laboratory research
Steps
1. Brush the sample evenly on the Glass plate
2. Place the test plate horizontally on the test plate tray
3. Connect the 220V 50HZ power supply
4. Start the instrument, and the scribing needle automatically performs linear motion
5. Observe the change of plow marks and record the drying time of each stage
Notice
• Test environment must comply with GB1727 standard: temperature 25 +/- 1 ° C, relative humidity 65 +/- 5%
• The test board should be placed horizontally to avoid airflow and direct sunlight
• If there are specific regulations, conduct tests according to specific conditions
• Check whether the Power supply voltage is 220V 50HZ before use
• Pay attention to instrument maintenance to ensure Measurement accuracy
