Overview
The solvent resistance tester (model RJCS) is a professional equipment produced by SHIBO for measuring the solvent resistance of coatings to wiping. The instrument uses a wiping head with a certain speed and wiping pressure (absorbentcottonph in contact with the solvent wetting of the bread) to reciprocate on the surface of the sample. The number of wipes can be directly read by the counter to evaluate the solvent resistance of the coating according to the number of wipes required for coating damage.

Principle
Instrument by wiping head having a certain speed and wiping pressure in the sample surface reciprocating wiping, wiping head in contact with bread useful solvent wetting absorbentcottonph, wiping number recorded by the counter, according to the number of times required to wipe the coating damaged to evaluate the solvent resistant coating wiping performance.
Steps
1. Unscrew the setting bolt of the sample fixture, place the 75 × 200mm sample and then tighten the setting bolt
2. Wipe the contact surface of the head with absorbentcottonph parcel, install the hoop and tighten the fixing screw, put absorbentcottonph in the inner cavity of the wiping head and drop the solvent into the exudation, then place the wiping head on the sliding arm
3. Plug in the power supply, set the number of wipes with the counter, and turn the speed control knob to select the wiping speed (recommended 60 times/min)
4. Turn on the power switch of the governor to start working, automatically stop after reaching the predetermined number of times, and remove the sample for observation
5. You can turn off the governor power switch at any time during operation to stop, and then turn it on to continue working.
6. After automatically stopping, press the counter "clear" button to run again.
Notice
• Specimen size should be 75 × 200mm
• Wipe head with absorbentcottonph parcel and drop an appropriate amount of solvent to exudation
• The recommended wiping speed is 60 times/min (the speed control knob points to MAX)
• The machine can be stopped at any time by turning off the power switch of the governor during operation
• After the automatic stop, you need to press the "clear" button to run again.
• Power supply voltage is 220V 50Hz
