Overview
YOKE YK-806A international intelligent and safe BOD analyzer adopts the pressure difference method Measurement principle to simulate the biological degradation process of natural organic matter, and can test six water samples at the same time. The instrument has 1-30 days foster time selection, real-time display of BOD value during the test process, and has automatic storage, wireless printing and data transmission functions.
Features
1. Measurement principle of differential pressure method is used to simulate the natural biological degradation process.
2. Six water samples can be tested at the same time, and the fostering time is 1-30 days.
3. During the test, the screen displays the current BOD value in real time.
4. With automatic Data storage function, BOD5 results can be stored for up to 10 years.
5. Support wireless printing of test data.
6. Data can be directly transferred to the computer via wireless transmission.
Principle
Measurement principle based on differential pressure. In a sealed foster bottle, the organic matter degradation in the sample consumes dissolved oxygen, and the oxygen in the air in the bottle continuously replenishes the consumed oxygen while removing carbon dioxide generated by the degradation. This process results in a change in the air pressure in the foster bottle, and by monitoring this pressure change, the biochemical oxygen demand BOD value of the sample can be calculated.
Applications
Water quality testing, environment monitoring, sewage treatment, scientific research experiments
Standards
BOD5 accuracy test standard for water quality (glucose-glutamate standard solution BOD5 = 180-230mg/l)
Steps
1. Prepare the sample and place it in a sealed foster bottle.
2. Set the required foster time (1-30 days).
3. Start the instrument and start monitoring the pressure change in the foster bottle.
4. During the test, the instrument screen displays the BOD value in real time, and the data is automatically recorded.
5. After the test, it can be viewed through the instrument, wirelessly printed, or transmitted to the computer.
Notice
• Please ensure the sealing of samples and foster bottles to ensure measurement accuracy.
• Use a standard solution (e.g. glucose-glutamate standard solution) to calibrate to ensure that the instrument meets accuracy standards.
• Pay attention to the data recording interval setting of the instrument (24 minutes to 12 hours/time) to meet different test requirements.
• Maintain the instrument regularly to ensure the proper operation of the Sensor and transmission functions.
When storing large amounts of historical data, make regular backups to prevent data loss.
