Overview
JM-V type paint film abrasion instrument is a dual-purpose abrasion instrument manufactured with reference to GB/T1768-2006 and other standards, taking into account the wear resistance test of paint film and wood. It is suitable for testing the wear resistance of various coatings (such as nail paint, floor paint, road paint) and paper, plastic, Spinning & weaving products, decorative boards and other materials. The instrument adopts stepper motor drive and programmable control, and the parameters and status are displayed by LCD screen. It is easy to operate, reliable in performance, and flexible and convenient to use.

Principle
The abrasion instrument contacts the specimen on the horizontal turntable through two abrasion abrasive wheels at a specified distance, and the central axis of the two abrasive wheels is not coplanar with the central axis of the turntable. When the turntable swirls/spins, the left abrasive wheels generate friction from the outside to the center, and the right abrasive wheels generate friction from the center to the outside, thus forming a series of intersecting ring friction marks on the surface of the sample plate. This layout causes friction on the surface of the sample plate in all directions, avoiding the directional defect of one-way friction and making the abrasion evaluation more objective. The JM-V type is driven by a stepper motor, which effectively avoids the change of Rotation speed caused by voltage fluctuations and significantly improves the working Stability.

Steps
1. According to the test standards and requirements, select the appropriate abrasive wheels and load weight.
2. Install the specimen on the horizontal turntable.
3. Set the required turntable Rotation speed and other parameters through the programmable controller.
4. Start the instrument and monitor the working status through the LCD screen.
5. After the test is completed, take out the sample for abrasion evaluation.
Notice
• Before use, please ensure that the instrument is well grounded and the Power supply voltage meets the requirements (220V 50Hz).
• Install specimen samples and abrasive wheels firmly to avoid loosening during testing.
• According to different test material standards, correctly select and install the corresponding load weight.
• Regularly check and equilibrate abrasive wheels, which can be adjusted using the randomly included equilibrating weight.
• When the instrument is running, do not touch moving parts such as the turntable and abrasive wheels.
• Keep the instrument clean, especially the contact area of the turntable and abrasive wheels.
• If there are special requirements for abrasive wheels Rotation speed, the programming parameters should be modified under the guidance of professionals.
• When repairing or adjusting, please disconnect the power supply.
