Overview
JM-V type paint film abrasion instrument is manufactured with reference to GB/T1768-2006 paint film wear resistance performance test parameters, and takes into account the test parameters of GB/T17657 on wood wear resistance performance, providing a multi-purpose wear resistance performance test method. It is suitable for laboratory testing the wear resistance of various coatings, and can also be used for paper, plastic, Spinning & weaving products, decorative boards, etc. The instrument is driven by a stepper motor, programmable control, and the working parameters and status are displayed on the LCD screen. It is easy to operate, reliable in performance, and flexible and convenient to use.

Principle
The abrasion instrument brings two abrasion abrasive wheels at a specified distance into contact with the specimen template mounted on the horizontal turntable, and makes the central axis of the two abrasive wheels not in the same plane as the central axis of the turntable. When the turntable swirls/spins, the left abrasive wheels generate friction from the outside to the center of the sample surface, and the right abrasive wheels generate friction from the center of the sample surface to the outside. The turntable swirls/spins continuously, forming a series of ring friction marks intersecting in a mesh shape on the surface of the sample plate. This arrangement causes friction in all directions of the sample surface, avoiding the directional defect of one-way friction and making the abrasion evaluation more objective.

Steps
1. Install the specimen on the horizontal turntable.
2. Select the appropriate abrasive wheels according to the test requirements and install them.
3. Rotation speed and other parameters of abrasive wheels are set through the programmable controller.
4. Apply the corresponding load weight as required.
5. Start the instrument and observe the working status and parameters through the LCD screen.
6. After the test is completed, remove the sample for abrasion evaluation.

Please ensure that the instrument is placed smoothly before use.
* Choose abrasive wheels of suitable materials according to different test samples.
* When applying load weight, please note that the weight marking weight (e.g. 500g, 750g, 1000g) is the actual gravity applied to the surface of the specimen.
* abrasive wheels equilibrate weight (1g, 2g, 5g, 10g, 20g and pin 20g) is used to adjust abrasive wheels equilibrate, please use it correctly as needed.
