Principle
The instrument consists of Probe, main body, standard board, etc. Probe adopts the principle of 0 ° irradiation and diffuse reflection reception. When the reflected light of the sample acts on the silicon Photocell, the photovoltaic cell surface generates an electrical signal, which is input to the DC amplifier for amplification and displayed by the reading display.

Steps
1. Connect the Probe to the electric control box, connect the power supply, turn it on and preheat for 10-15 minutes. At this time, the Probe should be placed on the black standard board.
2. Zero correction: Put the Probe on the black standard board, adjust the zero correction knob on the host, so that the host number is displayed as 000.0, and allow changes of +/- 0.1.
3. Calibration Standard value: Put Probe on the white standard board, adjust the calibration knob of the host, so that the value displayed by the host is consistent with the calibration of the white standard board. Allow change +/- 0.1. Adjust repeatedly (zero, calibration).
4. Measurement of RB value: Move the Probe to the black working ceramic plate with the sample, and the value displayed on the display is the RB value.
5. RW measurement value: the Probe placed on the white working ceramic plate with the sample, the value displayed on the display is the RW value.
6. Calculate the contrast ratio: contrast ratio (hiding ratio) = RB/RW × 100%.
